Skunk No. 1
Also Known as: “The Pure”
Variety: Mostly sativa (75%)
Type: Stabilized hybrid, True-Breeding
Harvest Date: Mid-October
Flowering Period: 9 weeks
THC Content: 14%-16%
Characteristics: Easy to grow
Skunk No. 1 was the first true stabilized hybrid to enter the Dutch Cannabis greenhouses. Sacred Seeds created it in the late 1970s from Afghani Indica, “Acapulco Gold” Mexican Sativa and Columbian Gold Sativa.
For the first time this strain provided growers with the good taste and high of a sativa coupled with the quick heavy flowering of an indica. Having been successfully stabilized, Skunk No. 1 has been widely used as a breeding parent for most of today’s leading “skunk” and many other strains. It is very easy to grow and has always been seen as a standard against which others can be measured.
It produces dense buds varying in colour from light green to golden with a very high yield. It is easy to manicure due to its high bud-to-leaf ratio. It has a sweet smell and taste with a cerebral high.
Purple Kush
Origins – Hindu Kush x Purple Afghani
Flowering – 50-60 days
Harvest – Early October
This lady forms a short squat bush with very dense intermodes and huge fan leaves, staying in the 2-3 foot height range indoors. With topping or pinching she will be at least as wide as she is tall. Purple Kush’s foliage exhibits a classic indica growth pattern: a sturdy bush with dark green hues and hints of purple toward ripeness.
Purple Kush is versatile, performing well for both indoor and outdoor growers. She does very well in a screen of green (SCROG) setup. Purple Kush buds form tight chunky nuggets with hints of purple in the tips of the calyxes, as well as the soft pine bouquet and a sweet, grapey taste on an earthy foundation. her very frosty veneer of glands will please both the connoisseur of indica potency and the hashish fan. The Purple Kush high is strong, deep stone delivers when it comes to treating chronic pains and inflamations, among other conditions.
True Og
Variety: Indica
THC Level: High
Flowering Time: 9 Weeks
Yield: Medium
100% Indica phenotype. This Strain has been secured since 1996 and is NOT one of the many OG Hybrids that have been crossed with a Sativa. Anything but subtle describes the distinct odor of lemony citrus and pinesol. Definitely full of earthy flavor, although you can certainly detect hashish notes. Characteristic for an indica, an initial slight rush transitions to great mental and body relaxation. This Strain invented the term “Couchlock”! Greatest Strain for Acute and Chronic Pain, Insomnia, Nausea and Severe Headaches.
Chem Dawg
Variety: Hybrid
THC Level: High
Flowering Time: 9 Weeks
Yield: High
The famed Chem Dawg, aka Chemdawg, is one of the most potent Marijuana strains in existence. Originating in mystery and legend, Chem Dawg was supposedly found as a seed in a bag of high-quality bud bought by the strains’ namesake, who is now breeding various new varieties with these genetics.
Chem Dawg is powerful medicine, with a strong smell of pine-sol and jet fuel, and a very strong high – which can be too strong and anxiety-producing for less-experienced smokers. The kolas are large and dense, reaching as much as 4-6 inches in diameter, even in an indoor environment. Because of this, being careful to avoid gray mold is important. The plant also has a slight susceptibility to powder mildew.
Origins – Mexican Sativa x Chemo
Flowering – 75-80 days
Harvest – Early November
Sour Diesel is a tall, thin plant suitable for sea or screen of green. She stretches in the first 3 weeks of flowering. By maturity she reaches a daunting 6 feet indoors in a slender version of the classic Christmas tree silhouette. Her foliage purples as it ages, and commonly displays pink-hued pistils. The buds are loose and spear-shaped.
Sour Diesel taste combined with its effects may be considered an “exptreme sport” version of cannabis. The stone pull smokers into the sky fast with a viscerally uplifting pleasure and lots of consciousness expansion in the direction of spirituality. This good-vibe variety may help alleviate chronic depression, as well as the ordinary blahs by encouraging a change in perspective.
SFV OG
Origins – OG Kush (S.F.V. cut) crossed with Afghani #1
Flowering – 8-10 weeks
The SFV OG stretches in veg but seems to fill herself out in flower. She has smaller nugs that you can get a good yield from if you super crop her while she’s growing. SFV OG prefers to be grown indoors in a hydroponic setup.
A potent peaceful stone that’s heavy to the body. Moderately euphoric with a clean and clear head high. Sedating without knocking you out. Good for the evening.
